Fuck you, Fox News.
So Fox News has a Facebook "sponsored group" now. The subtitle reads "The Network Your Professors Don't Want You To Watch" .... at least they can admit that.
Anyway, on down the page a promo reads "A radical college professor gets the green light to teach a class on Islam. Will he be spreading a message of hate?"
First of all, Islam is a relgion, much like Christianity. Imagine the above statement with "Christianity" instead of "Islam". Does Christianity teach hate? No, but some Christians do hate, much like some Islamics do. Does that mean we should refer to Christians in such a way?
It makes me sick that everytime the word "Islam" is mentioned, it's associated with terrorism or hate. It's a fucking religion, people!
The sad thing is that many of the people that watch Fox News probably do think "Islam" is synonymous with "Terrorists" because they're idiotic, blind patriots and avid Fox News consumers.
This kind of shit makes the educated masses feel extremely frustrated.
