TERRORIST ATTACK IN BOSTON!

An explosion that blew out a number of windows at a Boston-area laboratory specializing in stem-cell research was caused by a pipe bomb, local police said on Friday.

No one was wounded in Thursday's early morning blast at Watertown, Massachusetts-based Amaranth Bio, which says on its Web site its technology is focused on organ regeneration and that it is working on cures for diabetes and liver disorders.

Don't expect to see much news coverage of this. Remember folks, it's only terrorism when it's swarthy Middle Eastern men. When it's fundamentalist nutbags like this—or right wing white people hoping to start a race war—it's just not headline news. [credit]

How can one not love The Daily Show? It's still amazing to me that a comedic news program seems to have more balls and better research staff than anyone else in news today.
