So I switched to mac over a month ago and I finally have my first major complaint:
If I copy a folder called "A" from one place to another that already has a folder called "A", rather than merging them, I have the option of keeping the old folder or replacing the whole folder with the new folder.
That's just lame... I want all the data, and I don't want to have to open each individual folder and manually copy everything (I'm merging music folders).
BAH, I say. BAH.
update: The resolution for me personally was to create a new folder in the destination directory with any old name. I then told iTunes to clean up the iTunes music folder. So that worked. But for any other merge you'd have to run terminal, and I don't think most people are up to that task.
update 2: I could have made it even easier by turning on the option to automatically copy music to the itunes library. Then all I would have had to do was drag the files to itunes.
