FreeMiniMacs.com - Get a FREE Mini Mac!

So, I was thinking that since i had success with the free ipod offer (yes, it works), maybe I'll have success with this one. I don't have a mac, and will not be affording one anytime soon, but would really like one, as Mac is easily outdoing Windows.

Oh, and maybe (just a little bit) because I love Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO, for being John Kerry's Tech Advisor.

From what I hear, the best offer to sign up for is the Blockbuster Online movie rental. You get (2) week free trial and then you get the first three months at $9.99 if you wish to keep it.

Anyway, the great thing about this is that if I can get a few people to do this, I get a free mac mini. Even greater is that once you join, complete your own offer, and invite your friends and blog readers, you too can get one for free. It's a nice, winning situation like that.

The State of the Union was a little different than you would expect. Rather than stressing the, well, State of the Union, George went another direction - to convince you that his plan to ruin Social Security is crucially needed. With such tactics as bending the truth, exaggerating numbers, and using big words that scare ignorant people, he makes a great (con) salesman.

Here's just one LIE: And best of all, the money in the account is yours, and the government can never take it away.

Oh, but don't worry. The audience definitely made a tiny bit of noise (groans) at his lies.

And regarding his plan to "cut the deficit in half", ThinkProgress has some good questions for Treasury Secretary Snow:
[H]ow can the president credibly claim he will cut the deficit in half by 2009 when the figures he is using exclude: 1) funding for operations in Iraq and Afghanistan; 2) the administration’s $2.5 trillion proposal to extend tax cuts; and 3) the administration’s $2 trillion Social Security package?

On that note, this whole Social Security issue isn't an issue I'm really all that worried about.

WHAT AM I SAYING? They want to raise the retirement age!
