WASHINGTON -- The man who insisted that President Bush make the claim that Saddam Hussein was seeking uranium for nuclear weapons in Africa is poised to assume a top State Department job that would make him the lead US arms negotiator with Iran and North Korea, according to administration officials.

Robert G. Joseph, a special assistant for national security to President Bush until a few months ago, is on the short list to become undersecretary of state for arms control and international security, the nation's senior diplomat in charge of negotiating arms control treaties, said the officials, who spoke on the condition they not be named."

LONDON, England (CNN) -- Britain's Prince Harry has apologized for wearing a Nazi uniform to a party, admitting he made a bad choice and saying through his publicist, "I am very sorry if I caused any offense."

The apology was released on Wednesday by the Clarence House Press office: "I am very sorry if I caused any offense or embarrassment to anyone. It was a poor choice of costume and I apologize."

The press office said, "Prince Harry apologized tonight after he was pictured on the front page of The Sun newspaper in a Nazi soldier's uniform which he wore to a fancy dress party."

My friend Jesse already has America The Book, and let me tell you - it's AWESOME. I can't wait to get my own copy and read every last thing in that book. It may very well become my favorite book.

As for the first one, well, the front cover accurately represents my views of religion in current politics.

"Why the Right gets it wrong and the Left doesn't get it" -- In my humble opinion, the Right gets it wrong because they use religion like a toy, flashing it around and calling it theirs in order to gain support from those that don't know any better. As for the Left... in a democracy with free religion, they shouldn't get it.
