Over on DailyKos.com, it was pointed out that on the official White House website for updates on the war in Iraq, there have been no news updates since October 23rd, 2004 - and the main blurb on the site says:

"President Bush on Thursday said, "Based on all the information we have today, I believe we were right to take action, and America is safer today with Saddam Hussein in prison. He retained the knowledge, the materials, the means, and the intent to produce weapons of mass destruction.""

So, has there been no news from Iraq since November 2004, or is it just unnecessary since Bush won the election?
