Well, a week ago I had an ear ache in my left ear... out of nowhere. I woke up and there it was. I hadn't been to anything loud in at least 3 days.
Then this past weekend voices started sounding funny. I could hear people fine but low frequencies had an electric kind of sound to it...
And now I can't hear bass at all out of my left ear and have a hum. A week after it started.
So I'm about to head to the death center here at BSU.
I hope I haveen't suffered anything permanent.
Think about what I do in my free time:
DJing (about 70 times so far in 2006)
Concert Photography (I've shot probably a dozen shows in the past few months... and photo pits are usually right in front of the stage, right in front of the monitors).
*crosses fingers*
.... either way I'm buying some nice ear plugs. I just bought new headphones to replace my sucky ones (they don't filter out other noise, so I have to turn them up higher).

i just woke up after turning on the fan for the first time in forever (when it got alittle chilly a couple weeks back) and my right ear felt 'full'... it was hard to hear bass and some plosive-frequencies (Ps, Ts, Ds, et.al)
fortunately, it was just an ear infexion. the fullness is still there alittle, even tho' the frequencies have returned to (somewhat) normal.
i hope you have something just as non-permanent. I refused to watch IT'S ALL GONE, PETE TONG b-c the hearing thing is a personal fear of mine.
it's funny that they still callthe BSU health centre "Death Centre".
sending you positive vibes.... (but not PLUR b-c I'm too tekno for that).
