Today's thoughts:

• Staying in tonight to finish up my column that's due... tomorrow! Deadlines like to creep up on me like that.
• This Obama bio is really good! That crowd... republicans are making fun of him for it! You realize McCain's biggest crowd YET is 3,000?
• Let me just reitterate: HOLY CRAP that is a HUGE crowd!

• Any second now a guy is going to hoist up to the top of the stadium and 'run' all the way around.
• "perhaps the most important speech he has ever given" ... an understatement! He killed it! He nailed every issue that's been thrown at him.
• I want to know what that country song was. I'm guessing that was to appeal to blue collar america? PS: Anderson Cooper is still super hot
• I would just like to point out that there's two main issues in energy: the price of gas and where we get our energy from. not the same thing
• Why does Clark Kent get to voice his opinion on Larry King?

• Palin: governer of Alaska since 1 month before Obama announced his bid for President. Before that, Mayor of a tiny town.
• He's old and experienced. She's hot, young and a Washington virgin. McCreepy!
• Apparently yearly coccaine & ecstacy deaths have risen 1200% since 1993 to a whopping... 300. Wow, that was anticlimatic. is.gd/22SP
• That country song after Obama last night was Brooks & Dunn - "Only in America", which was Bush's campaign anthem song in '04. weird.

• Decided against King's Island tonight. Instead I'll make my rounds here, which includes Retro meets Electro at Therapy!
• My biggest problem with McCain's choice is that he's 72 (today, actually) and has had four boughts with cancer. She's not qualified. shrug
