My(SQL) date with PHP

Date formats in PHP and MySQL are a pain in the ass.

In related news, I'm almost done with this huge content management system for an online news website, with articles, media (video, audio, galleries), comments, page editor, faq and links editor, moderation on all stories and comments, rss feeds, and more. Pretty crazy stuff. Definitely the largest project I've ever done.

I'm really liking working full time.
