Got to class bright and early at 8am... to a class of 4 people. Yes, 4! It's a class in web technology, so it should mostly be review. How the internets work, database stuff, and programming are on the menu. The final project will be an e-commerce site, which I have experience in already. Sweet.
Then I have an hour break... definitely a perfect time to catch breakfast and coffee.
At 10 I have Digital Imaging, which again will mostly be review. It's all about color, create documents, imaging software, etc.
Then a 2 hour break.
At 1 I have Media Law, which should be the hardest course, and thus far the only one requiring books. I took it last semester and got a C- so I have to retake it. Garrrrr.
After Media Law I went on over to my other Computer Science class.... and the prof never showed. Here's his description of the class: "The course will cover HTML, CSS, DHTML, and XHTML and XML in the first part, then transition to a portion where you write client and server software, and finish with some CGI programming in Perl, Python, and/or PHP."
I love it that both of the 'hardest' classes in my CS minor are basically the same, and they're almost completely review for me. Score! Now I just have to make sure I go to class and get shit done.
Tuesday and Thursday I only have 1 class... Social Responsibility in the media. It's also supposed ot be a hard course, but that kind of stuff totally peaks my interest (and is totally the part of the media that makes it 'liberal' in some people's eyes... because being socially responsible on a national level means ratting out the government when it screws up, and some would rather it not be that way).
I'm really happy about living so much closer to campus. It's also kind fun to live alone. I'm sure I'll get bored, but I always have 80 things on my plate to do, so. For instance, I still haven't posted photos of Pitchfork, Lollapalooza, or Midwest Music Summit to RockMusicReview.com. I better get on that.
