I fucking hate Matt Drudge, but of course he would be the one to crack this story:
PLAYGIRL EDITOR-IN-CHIEF OUTS HERSELF -- AS REPUBLICAN
Mon Mar 07 2005 19:42:14 ET

When it comes to sex and politics, Democrats are the more liberal, right? Not so fast. Playgirl editor-in-chief Michele Zipp explores "down and dirty" politics and examines sexuality on both sides of the aisle. In the process she comes to a realization about herself and reveals for the first time she's now a Republican.

"Siding with the GOP when you live in the bluest state around is almost like wearing a Boston Red Sox jersey at a New York Yankees' home game," says Zipp in the April issue of PLAYGIRL. "I cannot tell you how many times a person assumed I voted for John Kerry in 2004. Most of the time, I don't have the heart to tell them, or the energy to discuss my reasons for going red this election year. But this is Playgirl magazine so it’s about time I was the one who bared what's underneath."

How could a member of the media who produces adult entertainment for women possibly side with conservatives from the red states? Zipp spells it out. "Those on the right are presumed to be all about power and greed – two really sexy traits in the bedroom. They want it, they want it now, and they'll do anything to get it. And I'm not talking about some pansy-assed victory, I'm talking about full on jackpot, satisfaction for all."

"The Democrats of the Sixties were all about making love and not war while a war-loving Republican is a man who would fight, bleed, sacrifice, and die for his country. Could you imagine what that very same man would do for his wife in the bedroom?' asks Zipp.

Developing...
The Drudge Report also broke the Monica Lewinsky business and when Kerry's daughter wore a dress you could see her nipples through. Then again.. he also reported that Kerry was having an affair with an intern. Drudge suggested that she fled to Africa so she won't have to face the news media should the scandal break. Makes you wonder how much of what he reports is true...

Either way, this story is kind of amusing no matter what your political beliefs.

Get a grip, Hoosiers
March 6, 2005

Having come from Ohio, and living in Indiana for nine years, I am shocked and disappointed in how politics are more important than the facts and the people's well-being.

Is Ohio perfect? No, no state is perfect, but having seen the last nine years full of ignorance in government, including deception on top of deception, scandals and embezzlement, you Hoosiers better get a grip on the real world.

Gov. Daniels is trying to bring this state just up to standards. The stupidity of the Democrats, with their "show" last Tuesday, is unbelievable. Living most of my life with daylight-saving time is great, and the right choice for moving forward in business.

Call your representative, and get this bill passed -- for the good of all who live in this state.

I love my mom to death, but she's giving a perfect example of what I hate in politics. She talks about how good this bill is but doesn't tell us why it's good. No real argument here... just throwing around insults about democrats. Way to win support. (Then again, maybe that works... Bush is in office)

"I trust God speaks through me. Without that, I couldn’t do my job"
GWB, July 9, 2004

"I'm also mindful that man should never try to put words in God's mouth. I mean, we should never ascribe natural disasters or anything else to God. We are in no way, shape, or form should a human being, play God"
GWB, January 14, 2005

It should be pointed out that it was Bush that said “I believe that God wants me to be president" and that "God is not neutral" in the war on terrorism.

So much for not putting words in God's mouth.
