They're preparing us for something.
You can often tell what's going to happen before it even does. Especially in anything to do with politics. Politicians talk up their game before they tell you what their game is. They'll even deny something for a few years and wait to go back on that after reelection (aka "we don't have to worry about being elected again''). After seeing the news lately, I'm going to use my super psychic abilities to say that something is going to happen in the next month or so.
They're talking the talk.
• U.S. works 'day and night' to rein in al-Qaida
"Recently, we learned that Osama bin Laden has urged the terrorist Zarqawi to form a group to conduct attacks outside Iraq, including here in the United States," Bush said at the swearing-in of Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff. Katie Montgomery, a spokeswoman for the Department of Homeland Security, said "At this time, we don't have any new information concerning a specific time, place or method of attack. However, we know the U.S. remains a target of al-Qaida." My question is.... why is it that Bush talked up capturing bin Laden for just a few months before we went to Iraq and left that issue alone until now? Easy. bin Laden is just another piece in this chess game. The fact that he's suddenly talking about him again suggests to me that he's ready to move into another country.
• U.S. vision for Mideast suddenly in greater focus
• North Korea postpones assembly
• OMG, Iran is next nucular* threat!
• Israel says Iran is building tunnels for arms
The pieces are lining up.
•Republican controlled house approves $80 billion "emergency war funding" ... even after complaints about the size and vagueness of the request for construction of the embassy in Iraq, which will have the largest staff of any in the world.
• N. KOREA WANTS: U.S. to declare it has no hostile intent
• The new CIA chief whines about how hard his job is: "The jobs I'm being asked to do, the five hats that I wear, are too much for this mortal"
... March 19th is the second anniversary of the takeover of Iraq.
The distractions are rolling in.
• Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan told Congress the record US budget deficit is "unsustainable" and that spending cuts are needed before costs balloon for Social Security and other benefit programs.
• Millionaire Fossett fulfills dream; Completes non-stop, solo flight around the world
• Millionaire Bill Gates is knighted by Queen Elizabeth.
• The Public Display of Ten Commandments case may hinge on O'Connor
• The Jackson trial
• Oil priced are going up again.... (oh noes, we better invade Iran to finish the oil pipeline!! ... or spread democracy or get them terrorists or something)
• Amazing coincidence: Ukraine's former interior minister has been found dead of an apparent suicide on the day he was to be questioned about the killing of an opposition-minded journalist, officials said.
And the draft suspicions are far from gone.
• Rense.com suggests draft to be announced on March 31
• Christian Science Monitor: Will there be a draft?
Wow, can you imagine what $80 billion could do for the poor people of the U.S.?
Which do you think we'll "liberate" (aka "take over" or "force capitalism on") next? Will we reinstate the red scare on North Korea or "liberate" Iran so that we can finish the oil pipeline? Either way we go, they're a lot different than Iraq because they actually have military power and both are suggested to have nucular* weapons programs.
and on a conspiracy note: More evidence that 9/11 pentagon attacks were faked?
