Everyone should download Regina Spektor's New Years song, My Dear Acquaintance on iTunes (it's free). Good stuff.

Although honestly, I think the sound effects of the crowd, helicopter, airplane, gun shots and police sirens could definitely have been left out. Why cover her beautiful voice with some gimmicky sound clips that don't even make sense to the song?

I just discovered that lowbrow.com has gone bye-bye. That sucks... I used to love wasting time reading the hilarity. Apparently there was just too much text to host or something. Hrm, okay. Did they try google ads? And uh... who told them it would be cheaper to host audio files instead?!

As a former contributor to the content of that site, I hereby voice my disapproval.
